FixRoster Privacy Policy

Overview

FixRoster is provided by Sleepycat Software LLC. It is a local-first home-service tracking application and does not require an account.

Information stored on the device

FixRoster stores the following information locally on your device:

• Properties and job records
• Providers, candidates, contact details, and provider history
• Notes, activities, and appointments
• Quotes, comparisons, hiring decisions, change orders, and payments
• Receipts, invoices, warranties, and photo or document attachments
• Local reminder schedules

Sleepycat Software does not receive or store the contents of your property, job, provider, quote, payment, or attachment records on its servers.

Nearby provider search

Nearby search is initiated by you. On iOS, search and geocoding may use Apple Maps through MapKit. Where the native module is unavailable, FixRoster may use the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service to geocode a location and find nearby providers.

FixRoster sends only the search terms and search location needed to return results. It stores place identifiers and the private records you create, and it does not build a provider database from map content. You can confirm or override provider contact details, and those overrides remain your private records.

Exports, backups, and sharing

PDF and CSV exports and portable backups are generated locally. Backup restore and attachment selection use the operating system's document or photo picker.

When you choose to share, save, or print an export or backup, the file is passed to the operating system's share or file interface. The selected third-party app or destination is governed by its own privacy practices.

Purchases

FixRoster offers an optional one-time FixRoster Pro purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the device. FixRoster uses RevenueCat to verify and restore purchase entitlement.

RevenueCat may process:

• An anonymous app user identifier
• Device type
• Operating-system information
• App activity timestamps used for entitlement operation
• Apple purchase receipts
• Google purchase tokens
• Purchase and entitlement history

Sleepycat Software does not receive or store users' complete payment-card information. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.

Support communications

FixRoster does not collect an email address through an in-app account. When you contact support voluntarily, Sleepycat Software receives the information included in the email, such as:

• Email address
• Message content
• Screenshots or attachments
• Device or troubleshooting details you choose to provide

This information is used to answer and resolve the support request.

Features FixRoster does not use

The current FixRoster application does not include:

• User accounts
• Advertising
• Third-party behavioral analytics
• Cloud storage or cloud synchronization of your records
• Contractor accounts or a public marketplace
• Payment processing
• Social features

FixRoster may use location when you choose to search near your current location; it does not use location for background tracking.

Data retention and deletion

• Your records remain on the device until you delete them or remove the app, subject to operating-system backup and restoration behavior.
• Backup files you export are under your control and can be deleted like any other file.
• Purchase records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their respective policies and legal obligations.
• Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Children's privacy

FixRoster is a general-purpose home-service utility and is not directed specifically to children under 13. Sleepycat Software does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through FixRoster.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when FixRoster's functionality, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated when changes are published.
